"What sort of people live about here?"

"In that direction," the Cat said, waving its right paw round, "lives a Hatter: and in that direction," waving the other paw, "lives a March Hare. Visit either if you like: they're both mad."

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.

"Oh, you ca'n't help that," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

"But I don't understand. What did they draw the treacle (!) from?"
"You can draw water out of a water-well," said the Hatter; "so I think you could draw treacle out of a treacle-well - eh, stupid?"
"But they were IN the well," Alice said to the Dormouse, not choosing to notice this last remark.
"Of course they were," said the Dormouse: "well in."

I think I'd pick the Hatter - he seems to have a better grasp of linguistics - and that is sexy to me. but in the end it won't matter - the Tea Party includes them both anyway

that's very curious about the moon and memory.

"But everything's curious to-day. I think I may as well go in at once." And in she went.
